10 Bass Instrument

The 10 bass also called the low bass, is made from of 10, 55-gallon steel drums. Each drum houses three notes.

The 10 bass is the harmonic section of the Steelharmonic Orchestra. It has the lowest range and plays bass notes of the arrangements, this gives the orchestra a full deep tone.

The sounds are derived from striking each note with a wooden or aluminium stick with a round ball mounted on the striking end.

The instrument could be mounted on a rack or placed on stands.

The careful placement of the notes in the design of the bass instrument also makes playing these instruments extremely comfortable.

Every pitch has a high and low octave, which means that the sound on this instrument is unsurpassed for volume and warmth. The construction ensures that this instrument is firm, loud, and will provide a lifetime of enjoyment.
